Ilfracombe State School’s learning day begins at 8:50 am and finishes at 3.00 pm. We encourage students to be at school, on time, everyday as every day counts in your childs education. Classroom doors will be open from 8.30 am and students entering the school grounds from this time will be asked to prepare themselves for their day.
9.00 am – 11.00 am: Maths and Literacy rotations
11.00 am – 11.45 am: First break (including 15 minute eating break).
11.45 am – 1.30 pm: Literacy Block - unit work, DARE, Spelling Mastery, Individual Reading Program
1.30 pm – 2.00 pm: Second break.
2.00 pm – 3.00 pm: Other key learning areas (history, science, art, physical education).
